Description

A four-story, wood-framed apartment building with commercial space on the ground floor, and apartment residences on the upper three floors. The building features a below-grade parking garage, a large courtyard above the commercial level, and 49 apartment units.

Scope of Work

EC was called by the general contractor when there was a request to use a different type of window and door systems on the building. FEC reviewed the windows and door systems for performance concerns, designed new installation and transition details, observed mock up construction, and made additional construction recommendations to address other waterproofing concerns throughout the building.
